Volunteers and pro bono partners are essential to Greater Toledo Heritage and Horizons (GTHH). By sharing your time, skills, and expertise, you help preserve history, revitalize our community, and ensure donor contributions are directed to high-impact projects.

As operational funding grows, some volunteer and pro bono positions may become paid roles. Current contributors will be the first to be notified. (No employment is guaranteed.)

Community Outreach

Connect with residents, share our mission, and support engagement at local events.

1–3 hrs/week On-site

Historical Research

Gather stories, photos, and archival materials that preserve Toledo’s legacy.

Flexible Remote or On-site

Event Support

Assist with setup, hospitality, wayfinding, and guest experience at events.

As needed On-site

Administrative Help

Support mailings, data entry, scheduling, and office tasks.

2–4 hrs/week On-site

Pro Bono Professional Roles

Accounting & Nonprofit Compliance

Bookkeeping, financial statements, and annual reporting to strengthen transparency.

CPA/Bookkeeping Nonprofit filings

Legal Support

Nonprofit law, contracts, and property matters to support responsible growth.

WA Nonprofit Contracts

Grant Writing & Research

Identify opportunities and craft compelling proposals to foundations and agencies.

Grant research Proposal drafting

Graphic Design & Mapping

Create conceptual maps, renderings, and materials aligned to our brand.

Design GIS/Illustration
